Vellore: 3 killed, 11 Injured As Roof of Under Construction Church Collapses

Vellore, Tamil Nadu: At least three people were killed and 11 others injured after the roof of an under-construction church collapsed in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, officials said.

The incident occurred while construction work was underway at the site. The sudden collapse brought down a portion of the structure, trapping workers and others beneath the debris.

Rescue teams and emergency personnel rushed to the location soon after the incident. The injured were pulled from the rubble and shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. The condition of some of the injured is being closely monitored.

The bodies of the three deceased were recovered from the debris and sent for further procedures.
