Mumbai, August 25, 2026: Indian independent cinema is preparing for an international moment in the spotlight as filmmaker V. R. Bhagat’s directorial debut, Flower of Life, heads to Venice for a special screening connected with the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
Produced by Mohit Parmar and Sanjana Parmar under House of Joy Productions, the film features veteran actor Piyush Mishra alongside Bharati Patel, Rhea Sharma, Kunal Pant, Himanshi Parashar and Nikhil Malik. Reports say its Venice premiere is scheduled for September 8, 2026.
