The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has temporarily closed 16 metro stations across the national capital due to heightened security arrangements amid the CJP protest over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.
The closures come as thousands of students, activists, and supporters gather in Delhi to participate in the protest, prompting authorities to impose additional security measures to maintain law and order.

According to the DMRC, the following 16 metro stations have been closed until further notice due to security reasons:

- Patel Chowk
- Janpath
- Khan Market
- Mandi House
- Supreme Court
- Pragati Maidan
- ITO
- Delhi Gate
- Jama Masjid
- Lal Qila
- Rajghat
- Indraprastha
- Barakhamba Road
Passengers have been advised to check the latest travel updates before beginning their journey, as trains may not halt at these stations during the restrictions.
Tight Security Across Delhi
Security has been significantly enhanced in and around central Delhi, particularly near Jantar Mantar, Parliament Street, and other sensitive areas. Delhi Police have deployed additional personnel, erected barricades, and imposed traffic diversions to manage crowds and prevent any untoward incidents.
Authorities have urged commuters to use alternate metro stations and routes while the restrictions remain in force.
