New Delhi: The Campaign for Judicial Accountability and Reforms (CJP) has alleged that the Delhi Police acted negligently after security arrangements were reportedly withdrawn at Jantar Mantar during a protest related to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
According to CJP, the removal of barricades and other security measures created an unsafe environment for demonstrators, raising concerns over the safety of students, activists, and members of the public participating in the peaceful gathering. The organization has urged authorities to explain why the security arrangements were reduced and to ensure adequate protection during future protests.
The protest drew participants demanding greater transparency, accountability, and fairness in the conduct of NEET examinations. Protesters called for comprehensive reforms to address concerns surrounding the examination process and to safeguard the interests of aspiring medical students.
