Mumbai, September 23, 2026: Actor Radhika Apte has spoken about the deeply unsettling experience she faced after an intimate clip associated with her was circulated online, revealing that the incident made her concerned not only about public reactions but also about her personal safety.
In an interview with India Today, Apte recalled that she was living alone at the time and became sufficiently worried to speak directly with people working around her, including her driver and spot assistant.

Apte said she eventually contacted her driver and spot assistant and asked whether they had seen the leaked clip. She told them that if they continued working with her, she needed them to be prepared to protect her.
According to her account, both reassured her that they would look after her. The actor said the situation nevertheless left her frightened because she was living alone in an apartment at the time.

Apte recalled that she could not leave her home for four days following the incident.

The actor said her watchman had also seen it.
