The appointment-letter distribution programme marked the beginning of a new phase of service for the selected candidates, who were recruited through the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

Three Categories of Police Posts

The 912 candidates selected through the recruitment process include personnel appointed to the following positions:

  • Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential)
  • Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk)
  • Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts)

These appointments will strengthen the police department’s administrative, clerical and confidential functions. The newly selected personnel will take up their respective responsibilities according to departmental procedures.
