Battle Lines Drawn: Rana Daggubati, Prabhas go to War in First Teaser of Baahubali

Battle formations and war cries take centre-stage in the first teaser of Baahubali, featuring Prabhas as the titular Baahubali and Rana Daggubati as Bhallaladeva.

The 16-second clip, which was released by director SS Rajamouli on Twitter on May 30, crossed 4 lakh views on YouTube within 12 hours.

Prabhas also plays the second role of Shivudu in the two-part epic which is reportedly about two brothers fighting for the throne. The female leads are played by Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty. The cast also includes Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar.

Baahubali, reportedly the most expensive film made in India, has been shot in both Telugu and Tamil. It will also be dubbed in Hindi, English and other languages. Filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will present the film in Hindi.

The first trailer of Bahubali will be released on June 1 while the film will hit the screens on July 10.
